Taj Mahal

Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb

It is the tomb of Mirza Ghyas Beg who was a Persian and got service in Akbar Court. The Marvel tomb was built by Emperor Jehangir’s Queen, Noorjahan who made it for his father during 1622-1628 A.D. he architecture at the tomb bespeaks of the Taj Mahal. Jama Masjid

Constructed at a great height, the structure houses a large courtyard where the faithful can gather to pray. The lattice marble screens of the tomb are stunning in their craftsmanship. The tomb was constructed in red sandstone and portion of the original structure can also be viewed.
